Taking technical/ underwriting ownership of the more complex liability renewals and on new business opportunities.

Managing workflows (renewals, endorsements, new business etc) to ensure delivery of quality of services and products.

Ensuring business offering is aligned with divisional objectives, portfolio balance and cycle management strategies (growth & profit).

Keeping abreast of market conditions and trends, and maintain a market presence.
-
Providing feedback to stakeholders and take action to capitalise on business opportunities.

Underwriting with adherence to underwriting guidelines whilst actively managing the portfolio and applying remediation to stressed accounts
-
Demonstrated experience in Underwriting liability or multiple lines of commercial business with a detailed understanding of account and reinsurance structures.

Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.

Build collaborative relationships with key intermediaries to position AAL as the market leader

Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/ or legislative compliance requirements.

Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgments and solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
