About the role
As a Librarian at TAFE NSW, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering our diverse student body by providing top-notch information literacy instruction and support, both in-person and online.
You’ll be at the forefront of developing and promoting innovative, customer-focused library services that are key to our students’ educational success.
This full-time, permanent position requires the successful candidate to work across both the Leeton and Griffith campuses, with a 0.5 FTE allocation at each campus. The working roster will be negotiated during the offer stage to accommodate operational needs and candidate preferences.
Interviews for this position are scheduled to take place in January 2025.
About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who is passionate about library and information services.
If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:
- Qualifications: Eligible for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) with an ALIA-accredited library and information science qualification.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of library and information service concepts, principles, and theory.
- Tech-Savvy: Understanding of library systems, practices, procedures, and current developments, with the ability to support evolving library technologies. Digital Literacy and AI expertise transferable to program development.
- Adaptable: Willingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements.
