Logistics Administration Officer

Team Global Express is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Administration Officer to join our team. In this role, you will support our logistics operations by ensuring the smooth processing of freight documentation and handling day-to-day administrative tasks.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
What you’ll do
-
Create, sort, and label freight connotes, ensuring accuracy and resolving any incorrect labels.

Daily contact with Compass for freight with missing site details.

Prepare Compass manifests and manage tripping for Monday-Thursday runs.

Sort and file Proof of Delivery (PODs) for all return connotes.

Organize and manage paperwork for manifesting.

Handle office supply orders for the Tennyson office.

Provide excellent customer service by resolving queries related to missing or incorrect freight.

Ensure all paperwork, including pallet dockets and temperature sheets, is accurate and assigned to the correct trailers.

Manage LSD creation and pricing for subcontractor runs.

Request PODs for SSR as needed (note: direct access is unavailable for this function).

Send daily emails with manifests to all sites and runs.
What you’ll bring

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Strong communication skills for customer service and internal coordination.

Proficiency in using office software and managing logistics documentation.
-
Previous experience in logistics administration is an advantage but not required.
