Manager

As the Manager, you will: - Plan, design and develop the QPWS asset management strategy within a risk management framework.- Develop and oversee efficient and effective asset management programs for QPWS.- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team to develop, implement and continuously improve systems, plans, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for asset management across QPWS.- Foster a team culture that is driven to produce best practice asset management results- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders- Actively contribute to the development of divisional strategic and operational plans to deliver quality asset management outcomes.- Ensure relevant statutory requirements and legal obligations associated with asset management, administrative risks and liabilities, workplace health and safety are met.- Provide high level strategy and policy advice and represent the division in Departmental and whole of government negotiations and prepare policy papers, submissions, briefs, reports on complex issues and budgets on asset management issues as required.- Identify and develop opportunities to build asset management capacity and capability across the division.- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
