About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to manage the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of strategies designed to advance the integrated governance, risk and compliance system within the Metro North Hospital and Health Service. The position provides strategic direction for these systems and processes across the health service and facilitates collaborative links with internal and external partners to advance the Health Service's goals and capabilities in this area.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Operationally manage a coordinated approach to the organisational and strategic risk registers for the health service in accordance with policy and procedure requirements.
• Develop and evaluate general and targeted staff education and training programs relevant to the integrated governance, risk and compliance system.
• Analyse variations and trends in governance, policy, risk and compliance and provide advice and recommendations to the Executive Director Clinical Governance, and other HHS executives on opportunities and challenges for the organisation.
