The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic RPNs/PSENs to join our Mental Health Nurse Pool at Northern Health.

There are multiple positions available and all Mental health Nurse Pool postitions are Permanent part time. A minimum of 0.6EFT is required as is a commitment to a rotating roster incorporating Day shift, Evenings and Night duty and weekends. The Mental Health Nurse Pool position requires the applicant to work across the Northern Health Mental Health Units (including acute adult, aged and residential care services) within your skillset and Scope of Practice. You will be allocated to the needs of the organisation to back fill staffing vacancies across all Northern Health sites within the Mental health units.

Nurse Pool are responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient centred care, within their scope of practice whilst observing the legislative requirement of the role and practising according to the Northern Health and Campus specific Policies and Procedures across all Sites of Northern Health. Working across all sites of Northern Health you will be exposed to a multitude of mental health nursing areas supporting your development of a diverse range of skills.
