Mudlogging Data Engineers

Responsibilities of the Mudlogging Data Engineer:

• Ensure adequate personnel, supplies and equipment are always present at well site.
• Gather accurate and factual logging information.
• Interpret logging information to determine occurrence and composition of resource.
• Provide lithological descriptions of all formations drilled.
• Assemble mud logging information into mud logs and drilling databases.
• Communicate mud logging information to customers.
• Perform specialised tests or gather additional data as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Geology, Geophysics or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant field experience.
• Full competency in job tasks detailed in the key responsibilities.
• Able to demonstrate technical aptitude to required standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail for data entry and logging.

Additional Information:

• Work roster will depend on location of the consultant.
• Mainly offshore work.
