About the Opportunity
In this position, you will be responsible for providing advanced evidence-based, strength-focused, recovery orientated Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment within an Adult Drug Court multi-disciplinary team. This position provides co-ordinated Drug & Alcohol Treatment plans and ensures that Adult Drug Court assessments and reports are completed. This position is responsible for complex care coordination and supporting discharge planning for Adult Drug Court clients and other DHS services & clients, working closely with Justice Health and Downing Centre Court staff to ensure joint care planning on transition plans as well as providing consultancy as required. The position will support workforce skill development enabling staff to better support people with complex drug and alcohol comorbidities.

The Ideal Candidate is someone who has...

A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
Advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Drug and Alcohol Occupational Therapy.
A current NSW Driver Licence (P1 and P2 Licence acceptable).
