WHERE YOU'LL BE WORKING

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

To provide palliative care support and education to health care professionals across the facility campus and facilitate best practice clinical care to individual patient palliation and family/carer support. Concord Centre for Palliative Care (CCPC) is a centre of excellence providing sensitive, compassionate, multidisciplinary care for patients with a life limiting illness and their family and carers.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in specialist Palliative Care clinical practices including assessment, planning, treatment management, and clinical leadership underpinned by evidenced based practice.
Demonstrated professional knowledge, judgement and skill in providing professional education and support in Palliative Care nursing.
