Anglo American Steelmaking Coal
Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in steelmaking coal and manganese, as well as copper exploration projects underway in North West Queensland and Western Australia.

Job Description
-We would like to invite applications from experienced safety focused OCE Supervisors to join our Dawson Mine site team.
Your role will be to monitor, inspect and report across mining operations to ensure all activities and conditions are safe, compliant with relevant legislation and Dawson SHE Management system requirements.

Qualifications
-To be successful in this role you will possess sound knowledge of mining legislation, safety, health and environment and community systems and open cut mining techniques with a minimum of 2 years recent OCE Supervisory experience in an open cut mine and you must have a current

- OCE ticket
- S1, S2, S3 & G2 qualifications
- Opencut Examiners Certificate of Proficiency in mine gasses and gas testing
- Conduct Atmosphere monitoring
