Parts & Service Advisor

The Opportunity:
The purpose of the position is to provide assistance to both internal and external customers with all queries regarding Service & Parts support ensuring the Branch meets the operational standards set by Komatsu and the CSC (Customer Support Charter).
Roster: Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week
Role Located: Mt Isa

- Current driving licence (forklift licence will be advantageous).
- Intermediate computer skills specifically Microsoft suite and mainframe systems.
- Sound working knowledge of earth moving equipment (strong mechanical aptitude will be advantageous).
- Trade qualification/s will be highly regarded. (will be advantageous).
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and build strong working relationships.
- Good understanding of how a service department operates
- Must understand the warranty guidelines and process
- Comprehensive Understanding of Parts Sales
- Appropriate demeanor for communicating with customers at a senior level and providing a professional service.
- Proven experience in inventory control and warehouse systems (will be advantageous).
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Ability to upsell parts and potential service sales
- Well-developed numeracy, written and oral communication skills.
