The Role
The role offered includes the following duties:

• Full-time position, 5 days a week. Early morning shifts starting at 4:30 AM. Responsible for producing a variety of pastries and cakes, including meat pie, fruit turnover, pasties, sausage roll, Vietnamese rolls, vanilla sheet, croissant, tart, pain au chocolate, donut, fruit cake, buns and other baked goods. Forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling batches of pastry products Glazing or decorating pastries and cakes Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health food safety. Collaborating with the team to develop new recipes and menu items, especially based on Vietnamese traditional cuisine style for meat pie filling. Having skills of managing resources, communicating, identifying and resolving issues and problems. Ensuring consistency in product quality and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Certificate 4 in Patisserie or equivalent. At least 1 year of pastrycook experience in a bakery or a pastry environment. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation, basic knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine. A strong passion for creating high-quality pastries. Excellent attention to detail and creativity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must hold full working rights in Australia.
