The Opportunity

The Physiotherapist role will provide high-quality evidence-based physiotherapy services to all our clients. Our Community Physios receive a varied caseload and can utilise the broad range of clinical skills their are equipped with on a daily basis.

In this role you will be committed to supporting and guiding clients to help them achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best lives. You will support clients via:

• Rehab in the home program: focusing on post orthopedic surgery
• Hospital in the Home program: suppotrting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries
• Home Care Package clients: supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home

Our community team will support you every step of the way, with a key focus on development, both clinically and professionally. We do offer flexible work arrangements to ensure the optimal work-life balance for you.

This role is base in Melbourne Metropolitan - preference is for the candidate to be located Eastern/Outer Eastern suburbs but will consider anywhere in Melbourne.

Please note that this is a short term 4-week contract opportunity, with the possibility of extension.


About You

As a passionate Physiotherapist, you are committed to providing best practice care to ensure our clients wellbeing. You will love providing care in client’s homes autonomously with the virtual support of your Clinical Lead. You will demonstrate your ability to build relationships across all aspects of your role and make professional contributions to a multidisciplinary environment, all while furthering your own professional development.

You will also have:

• Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Physiotherapy
• At least 1 year experience within a community setting

• Experience in completing home safety assessments within the community inclusive of home modifications, equipment prescription, and falls prevention and education. • Full registration with AHPRA

• Knowledge of manual handling practices
• Reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
