About this position
This is an entry level role offering full scope of a level 1 Health Professional which may provide the right candidate opportunity for growth and development working with Health Professionals within the Mid North Coast Local Health District. There may be opportunities to take up extra hours at other MNCLHD facilities.

What you'll be doing
Practising and promoting safe, efficient and effective Inpatient, Outpatient/Community care that reflects current standards of Physiotherapy practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.
All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined under the General questions section at Occupational assessment screening and vaccination - FAQ
Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.
  • Bachelor degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualifications for registration or eligibility for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess clinical and other problem situations and implement appropriate techniques and procedures, exercising professional judgement commensurate with their years of experience.
  • Sound interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Code of Conduct as outlined by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Current Driver's licence valid to drive in NSW
