Sealed Air Australia is looking for a motivated and skilled Planning and Purchasing Team Leader who will be a leader in purchasing (Interco purchasing, maintenance purchasing, external vendor scheduling) for the Australian business and drive continuous improvement activities in the purchasing function. This person will ensure goods are available in a timely manner, at a competitive price and in-line with Sealed Air sourcing practices. This person will work in the immediate timeframe (lead-time and less than lead-time) and interacts with production, customers, customer service and account managers. This person has full accountability and responsibility to find a workable solution by negotiating with suppliers and internal customers in the event of a supply constraint. This person is responsible in leading capacity smoothing activities with outsourced providers.
This person will report to AU Logistics Manager, will be based in Fawkner, Victoria and will cover the scope of ANZ to identify and lead strategic Supply Chain initiatives to ensure the delivery of organizational objectives. What are we looking for in you?
Relevant experience in a Customer Service/ Supply Chain role.
Bachelor’s degree in business/IT preferred
Comfortable in interacting with Senior Managers.
High level of competence in Microsoft Excel
CPIM APICS certification
SAP working knowledge, specifically as MRP tool
Ability to influence across business and at levels at or above or below own role.
Ability to lead and motivate staff.
Customer focus and communicates effectively.
