The Role
Reporting to the Cleaning and Sanitation Manager, this position will work as part of a team to clean and sanitise the plant, offices and amenities areas of a large manufacturing facility, working afternoon shift and night shift between 5pm and 5am available.
Selection Criteria

• Perform general clean-up of all office facilities such as washing walls, furniture, window glass/blinds, cover windows (fly screens)
• Cleans and sanitises in and outside production areas as directed.
• Perform detailed clearing cleaning and disinfecting inside the abattoir, including equipment and machinery.
• Operating equipment such as hoses to clean production line machinery and floors
• Emptying garbage bins, servicing restrooms and wiping down communal surfaces
• Ensure walkways remain clear and free of debris and rubbish.
• Tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request.
• Safe use of chemicals including disposing and keeping chemicals and equipment appropriately.

• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
• Ability to handle equipment and machinery used inn cleaning
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
