The Opportunity
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, Harvey Beef are looking for an experienced and capable person to lead our Stores Team.
Key Responsibilities:

leading, motivating, and developing the team
ordering, receipt, storage & timely supply of all items (non-meat)
continuously improve day to day processes
develop and maintain work instructions for all processes and functions
ensure ongoing cyclic counts & periodic stocktakes are completed
investigate and reduce inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies.
ensure correct processes are followed in purchasing, receipt, storage and distribution
regular reporting as required
liaise with all key stake holders

Person we are looking for:

experienced team leader
background that can handle the day-to-day challenges of purchasing, inventory, and warehouse management.
will roll the sleeves up and lead by example.
medium to advanced Excel and good with email communication
ability to drill down on issues and problem-solve.
organised, good at multi-tasking and handling priorities.
flexible by nature for handling the busy day to day.
good sense of humour
physically fit

Qualifications

Drivers License
Forklift Ticket
Chemical Handling experience
LR Licence desirable
First Aid desirable
Formal qualifications in Logistic and/or Warehouse Supervision or equivalent experience
