The role
As Naval Combat Systems (NCS) are moving to an enterprise wide model, the PM export control role will be consolidated centrally, with the Associate PM Operations being appointed as the main point of contact between PMs and the Export Control Function to coordinate and manage Export Control related activities.
Further, the successful candidate will:

• Promote Saab’s Mission, Vision and Values both internally and with our seconded employees
• Conduct all work in accordance to Saab’s Global Management System (GMS) processes
• Understand and promote the obligations that the role places on them personally regarding the Export Control processes in our business, and those processes that directly relate to projects in particular.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Project Engineering Managers and the Export Control Function to ensure on all matters regarding export controls.

About you
Your skills and experience will include:

• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
• 2-5 years experience working on technical projects
• Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills
• A demonstrable aptitude for internal and external customer liaison
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and to foster cooperation within and between teams.

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
