Seeking an ICT Contracts Principal Advisor at the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).
TMR is looking for a skilled professional in ICT contracts with experience in strategic planning and strong relationship-building capabilities to join our team. This position is key for managing and advancing our ICT contract portfolio to deliver on our strategic business goals.
Your role will involve creating contract management plans to support TMR's strategic aims. You will oversee contracts to make sure they meet our performance standards and deliver the results we expect.
You will be responsible for addressing complicated contract issues by researching, analysing and interpreting data, which will inform your decision-making. Your role will require you to identify and address potential risks and problems in a dynamic and commercially sensitive context.
Your ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues will be key, as will working constructively with our ICT suppliers.
We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of ICT procurement, contract or category management, and proven leadership abilities. You should be analytical, able to solve complex issues creatively, and skilled in recognising and dealing with risk, helping T MR adapt to unexpected challenges.
