The Opportunity
Due to the creation of an additional project delivery team at CPP, we are seeking a Principal Engineer – Primary Design to join our large in-house team of highly experienced engineers.
You will hold both technical and supervisory responsibilities whilst overseeing the development of high-quality designs for primary high-voltage (HV) systems.
Joining our team of over 140 Engineers and Designers, you will collaborate with the wider team and provide excellence in primary engineering. You will be the technical lead across all aspects of primary, civil, structural, building and site services engineering, supporting the project delivery including concept development and tendering phases.
Bringing your experience with HV systems, you will be an integral part of our team and play a large role in the success of the various flagship projects we are delivering here at CPP.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent
10+ years experience at a senior level with substation design and/or utility grid connections
Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor others
Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
