- Establish, maintain, support and actively develop relationships/networks/partnerships between communities and other stakeholders, including all levels of government, non-government organisations and the business community and provide tactical and operational advice and assistance on practical and effective ways to respond to issues.- Lead designated projects that deliver on policy and program objectives and to develop and implement solutions to regional and local issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.- Lead and coordinate teams on the management, coordination and implementation of projects to ensure highly effective and outcome focused programs.- Develop procurement and contracting strategies in partnership with industry partners to maximise benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities and businesses.- Work with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to increase their business capacity, opportunities and development and provide assistance in developing business capability statements.- Monitor and report on measurable outcomes achieved for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities and business through the use of procurement, contracting and grant related activities.- Keep abreast of industry and sectoral procurement practices by maintaining up to date knowledge of issues impacting on procurement and their relationship with relevant government policies and initiatives.- Monitor, review and provide strategic advice to the Regional Director or Program Manager on projects, programs and service delivery to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.- Provide strategic analysis of data to inform the development and implementation of whole of government service delivery responses to community issues.- Provide strategic advice to senior management on responses to critical issues impacting on communities and the effectiveness of government services.- Contribute as a team member to the operations of the regional work unit including regional planning.- All staff are responsible for identifying, managing and reporting risks relating to their work with DTATSIPCA.
