The Program is focused on performance, business improvement and change management within the Division of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P).
The Program will work with teams in QPWS&P to manage a business reform agenda to streamline the assessment and administration of authorities and improve corporate governance.

Your contribution:
As Principal Project Officer you will be required to work across multiple focus areas and have a working knowledge of one or more of the focus areas, or an ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge, and experience in leading improvement initiatives with the ability to support cultural and process change. You will be required to work closely with Senior Executive level staff, subject matter experts, QPWS&P, Corporate Services and DESI staff.
The role has a particular focus on supporting business planning and reporting across the Division, including knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and how these can be utilised to support the program delivery.

• You have experience in supporting productive working relationships, particularly in navigating diverse and complex business areas to achieve mutually beneficial and sustainable outcomes.
• You have ability to manage complexity associated with program level change across diverse business areas and customer agencies, assessing options and generating innovative solutions
• You have high level consultation, negotiation, interpersonal and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate with influence and negotiate confidently.
