Process Operator (Weighbridge Operator) - Pioneer Mill

To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries.
About the Role
We are currently seeking applications for a fixed term Weighbridge Operator located at Pioneer Mill in the township of Brandon. This is a fixed term maternity leave position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season on a rotating roster.
The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for the correct weighing of all cane entering the weighbridge and data entry from the consignment information. This position is also responsible for safe operation of fixed plant located in the weighbridge and full yard area via the use of Citec. You will be tasked with assisting in scheduled cleans of the weighbridge to ensure accuracy of weighing, working in confined spaces and maintaining records of scheduled weighbridge test weights.

- Use of telephones and two-way radio
- Team Work - work effectively within a team
- Ability to achieve competency in the sugar milling modules applicable to the weighbridge and feeding station.
