Procurement Specialist

We're seeking an experienced, reliable and organised procurement specialist to join our team at EIF International. In this full-time, on-site position, your role would be responsible for supporting our managers with a range of procurement activities including reporting, strategic sourcing, attending meetings, negotiating pricing, proving advice as well as ongoing transport, import and export activities for our growing business based in Campbellfield. To succeed in this position, you will require tertiary qualifications along with relevant experience.
What you'll be doing
- Negotiating pricing with suppliers and service providers
- Collaborating and negotiating with stakeholders, suppliers and service providers
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant import and export regulations and legislation
- Liaising with team members, customers, transport companies, shipping lines, airfreight and LCL consolidators to coordinate the timely and efficient movement of goods, internationally and domestically
- Preparing and processing all recording systems and documentation to oversee movement, such as export customs declarations, bills of lading, airway bills, arrival notices, delivery orders, outturn reports and cartage advice.
- Related tertiary qualification in supply chain, management or procurement
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement and transport industries
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Proficiency in EDI Cargo Wise One (CS1)
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A keen interest in the freight forwarding industry
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- IT savvy
- LF Counter Balance Forklift Licence
- LO Order Picker Forklift Licence

Pay: $73,300.00 – $83,300.00 per year
