Production Officer & HR Driver (Agi)

The Role
Holcim is looking for a Production Officer who holds a current HR license, for their plant located in Cairns. Minimum 6-months on road truck experience required. This role is a mix of production, batching and agitator driving.
Roles in Concrete Plants are fast paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail.

Duties and responsibilities:

Supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all times
Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes
Allocating and assigning loads to drivers
Stock management and coordination of deliveries
Managing contractors arriving to site
Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating the Agitator trucks in a safe manner
Delivering concrete to customer sites
Yard maintenance and front-end loader operation
Forklift operation and manual handling of bagged products

About you:

Hold a current HR licence with a minimum of 6-month on road truck driving experience and clear driving history
Forklift and front-end loader tickets - Desirable
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software
Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised,
Willingness to go the extra mile, supporting a strong team culture
Be passionate about safety, with a strong work ethic, and is results focused
Have effective communication skills and works well under pressure
Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position
Ability to complete a full pre-employment medical with Drug & Alcohol screening
Must hold full Australian work rights with no restrictions on employment duration or hours (no holiday or student visas)
