What will you be doing?
- Maintains the cleanliness of the hotels public, team member and common areas as well as reporting any maintenance problems.
- Detailed and routine cleaning of furniture, fixtures and fittings in the common areas both day and evening are essential.
- Toilet facilities are to be regularly checked and cleaned.
- Back of house staff facilities, toilets, corridors and offices are to be cleaned on routine basis.
- All glassed areas are to be kept free of smudges up to two metres.
- Spot clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces including light switches, walls, doors, and doorplates, removing fingerprints, smudges and stains
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Follow hotel security guidelines and safety procedures.
- Assist guests with any requests or questions they may have.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
