About us:
The Supply and Procurement Team reports through the Chief Finance Officer, Assets and Commercial Services. The team plays an integral role in the effective management of the supply chain, sourcing and procurement for the Hospital and Health Service (HHS). The team is responsible to deliver optimal imprest and purchasing outcomes and provide strategic advice and oversight of all imprest and purchasing undertaken with the HHS. We support the operations in ensuring they meet compliance and probity guidelines and provide support and education to ensure everyone is accountable for their responsibilities within the HHS.

About the role:
The role provides professional leadership and management to the Supply Central Queensland (CQ) Purchasing team. The role will ensure the delivery of a quality, value orientated, and client focussed supply service to a wide range of clients within the geographical portfolio.

• Provide input to the evaluation, maintenance and enhancement of materials management, invoice matching and contract management functionality of computer information systems.
• Policy advice to senior management on the purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification and contract management functions.
• Workforce management within the Purchasing team to ensure workloads are managed and manage all Workforce related issues within the team.

About you:

• Ability to successfully manage the implementation of a significant change agenda within a large supply services organisation.
• High level communication, consultation, and negotiation skills with ability to develop and refine relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
• Leadership and supervisory skills; including, the ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work environments.

What we offer:Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,052 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $53.24 - $57.92 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
