Salary Classification: Radiation Therapist Level 2, Year 1 - 5
Remuneration: $40.23 - $55.42 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's

THE ROLE:
A great opportunity for a Level 2 Radiation Therapist to temporarily join our team at Calvary Mater Newcastle, Department of Radiation Oncology with a 6-month temporary full-time contract, with scope for potential contract extension. The successful applicant will be involved in delivery of patient care and work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
DUTIES:

Simulation, planning and treatment delivery for patients undergoing radiation therapy
Explaining procedures to patients, their family and carers and demonstrating sensitivity to patients’ emotional as well as physical needs
Function effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team

ABOUT YOU:

Holds the tertiary qualifications, AHPRA registration and EPA licence necessary to practice Radiation Therapy in NSW.
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of radiation therapy.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service, patient safety and quality improvement.
