About this role

I-MED Radiology are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join the team in Cairns on a full-time/part-time basis.

Based in our Cairns clinic, a permanent full-time opportunity exists for an experienced Radiographer to join our friendly and collaborative team. As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, in this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalities including x-ray, CT and MRI. This role is working between at 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday.

Key responsibilities:

Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT, MRI and Mammography
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Key selection criteria:

Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
