This role will find you working to support both Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands & AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank.

Position Summary:

Identify and secure new group catering opportunities, setting the pace in the industry

Work with other operational disciplines to market the property and sell conferences, meetings and & event spaces

Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements

Execute photo shoots and brand activations whilst optimising all hotel marketing channels, inspiring brilliance

Plan and conduct high end site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion

Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by engaging and inspiring guests with each customer experience

Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts

Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings

Act as a Marriott ambassador and promote awareness on the hotel

About You:

Relevant experience in a similar role

Highly polished verbal and written communication skills

Working rights in Australia
