It's a great time to join the City with our new Certified Agreement in the works! New pay rates effective from 29 July 2024, with a 4.5% bump on 16 October 2024, and another 4% increase on 16 October 2025 (or Brisbane CPI up to a maximum of 6.5%). Exciting stuff ahead!
About your new role

Inspect Assets: Regularly check and thoroughly inspect and assess various open space electrical assets such as switchboards, BBQ’s, Sports lights and poles, pits and conduits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance, standards and operational efficiency.
Ensure Safety: Make sure everything meets safety standards and operational requirements.
Evaluate Condition: Identify any issues and recommend improvements or repairs.
Document Findings: Record your observations and report any non-compliance using systems to include SAP and Hydrogen.
Collaborate: Work with our maintenance team and other stakeholders to resolve issues.

We're looking for people who have:

Certificate III in Electrical (Electrician / Electrical Mechanic) or equivalent knowledge
Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent knowledge
Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on open space assets.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
Ability to problem solve and assess risks.
Tech-Savvy to include experience with SAP and Hydrogen - desirable but not essential.
Hold Queensland Electrical Workers licence
Hold Drivers Licence Class C Unrestricted
Hold WHS Licence General Construction White Card – desirable but not essential.
