Your Opportunity
As a Senior Front End Developer, you will join a growing engineering team in which technology, product, customer experience, commercial and marketing experts, work together to take new technology enabled solutions to market. We deliver and operate scalable technology-enabled solutions for our customers, based on KPMG's expertise and experience. We are also responsible for accelerating and initiating innovation and digitising our own business. The role includes:

• Design and develop scalable, high-quality frontend solutions using React and related technologies.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver engaging user experiences.
• Lead frontend architecture discussions and decisions, ensuring high performance, modularity, and maintainability of code.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in development, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-skilling within the team.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks; design and execute automated tests to ensure scalability during peak usage.
• Contribute to a positive team culture, fostering collaboration, innovation, and fun.

Your experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Expertise in React and Java Script (ES6+) with a strong grasp of modern web development practices.
• Proficiency with Type Script and UI frameworks like Material UI, Ant Design, or Chakra UI.
• Deep understanding of build systems like Webpack, Vite, or similar, and how they impact the development lifecycle.
• Solid experience with Git Hub, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops, or other source control systems.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
