Senior Management Accountant

In this role, you will:
- Prepare opex budgets and forecasts, report monthly variances, and analyze capex and working capital project variances. Compile materials for the Board Pack and report on the monthly balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow to the parent entity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and manage periodic bank reporting, ensuring compliance with covenants, while handling bank interest and fee payments.
- Support corporate income tax return preparation, manage AASB 16 Lease Accounting journals, and provide data for insurance policy renewals.
- Approve online bank payments, respond to stakeholder queries, recommend process improvements, and undertake ad hoc projects as needed.
About you:
- Must be CPA-qualified or Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of relevant experience. Strong advanced Excel and intermediate Power Point skills, detail-oriented, hands-on, and collaborative with excellent interpersonal abilities to engage confidently with senior management.
- Experience in Franchise Marketing or the QSR industry is desirable, along with familiarity with preparing Financial Statements is desired.
