The Opportunity
As the Senior Partnership Officer for the City of Perth, you will be part of a dynamic team leading the City's event portfolio. Your role will involve adopting a proactive and strategic approach to revenue generation in support of the City's annual event plan.
You will play a key role in developing targeted partnership strategies designed to deliver results and enhance the City's standing as a premier events destination, in alignment with the City's policies and processes.
Reporting to the Manager Strategic Partnerships within our City Events team, your responsibilities would primarily include:

• Successful delivery of the partnership portfolio, including the implementation of contractual benefits and activation elements;
• Work with partners to develop a comprehensive leveraging plan linked with achieving strategic objectives;
• Grow, develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to collaborate on mutually beneficial outcomes;
• Prepare high quality and tailored submissions, proposals and acquittals for incoming sponsorship and grant funding; and
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver engaging marketing/activation/campaign strategies based on partner needs, research, data, success rates and market trends.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:

• Comprehensive knowledge in developing partnerships to secure funding in line with corporate objectives and deliverables;
• Effective engagement and relationship management skills with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders at all levels to achieve business outcomes;
• Strong strategic project management skills with the ability to effectively work across multiple projects and prioritise workload to meet deadlines; and
• Ability to deliver high levels of client servicing with strong attention to detail.
