We have a newly created, full-time and permanent Senior Payroll Governance Delivery Lead role. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Payroll Governance, you'll provide expert stakeholder engagement and delivery skills to lead end to end compliance activities across pay-related systems and processes with Commonwealth, State and Territory workplace laws, including legislation and industrial instruments.

As the Senior Payroll Governance Delivery Lead you will:

• Lead a range of employee related scenarios and compliance activities relative to payroll, regulatory changes and or employee entitlements and provide support with workforce change management and inputs into business process design and training materials.
• Lead project related Governance activities including creating and articulating project tasks and timelines to cross functional teams and business units
• Participate and lead continuous improvement solutions in conjunction with the Business in relation to payroll governance.

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

• Senior Project Management skills in Payroll Governance and compliance related activities relative to Employment and Industrial relations law including all relevant State and Commonwealth employment related legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Highly developed written communication skills with demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret information and data, prepare content and deliver briefings, workshops and training sessions to managers and staff and external stakeholders.
• Ability to draft and interpret policies, explanatory materials and guidance documents.
• Strong understanding of interaction between Human Resources systems, policies, and practice in a corporate and customer service operating environment.
• Understanding of and experience in developing and implementing governance, frameworks and processes to support and enable industrial compliance.
• High level of commercial acumen and knowledge of corporate structures as they related to employee relations issues: acquisition, divestment, and transfer of business rules.
• Strong relationship and influencing skills including at senior/executive level as well as liaison with external legal and professional services providers.
