Water Corporation provides water and sewage services throughout Western Australia. We manage trade waste generated by the State’s commercial and industrial customers, and construction related activities.
Have previous field monitoring compliance experience in in a technical or regulatory field, such as Environmental, Wastewater Management or Trade Waste?

Key skills and experience:

• Tertiary level qualification in a science, chemistry or engineering related discipline is highly desirable although not essential.
• Preferable to have experience in field sampling and monitoring
• Demonstrated ability to follow documented processes and record quality field notes.
• Previous experience in managing compliance requirements in a highly regulated business / corporate environment.
• Have well rounded technical, problem solving, analytical skills and ability to follow documented processes
• Ability to undertake work both in the office and the field to deploy monitoring equipment.
• Have excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills and history of excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively plan and schedule work within a structured process -based environment.
• Current driver’s licence – Minimum C Class.

What this role will involve?

• 
  Compliance management activities relating to trade waste programs. Carrying out compliance inspections, field based tests and deploying auto samplers to ensure customer compliance.
• Plan, schedule and perform a variety of field and office-based activities related to compliance management of customers’ trade waste requirements to ensure customer compliance with the Corporation’s policies and legislative requirements.
• Translate technical information or legislative requirements to our customers and provide high-quality customer service to Commercial and Industrial customers to ensure compliance requirements are met.
