About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Yarrow Place Rape and Sexual Assault Service team as a Social Worker, where you will be responsible for the effective delivery of social work services to people of all genders, 16 years and over, who have been subjected to a rape or sexual assault. This includes:


About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:

• provide crisis and long term counselling and group work services
• provide advocacy and support appropriately
• work flexibly within a high demand, high pressure work environment
• demonstrated experience working in crisis and trauma situations
• demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• knowledge of Medical, legal and counselling rights and options for victims of rape and sexual assault
