SA Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-time Registered Nurse / Clinical Nurse 4GNS to join our dynamic team. 4GNS specialises in the care of Stroke and Neurology patients.
About the role:
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, in this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional care to our patients, utilizing your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to ensure the highest standards of nursing practice. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with complex health conditions, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Duties for the role will include:
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Providing comprehensive nursing care, administering medications, conducting assessments, and developing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
