Experienced Spanish speaking Support worker needed to work morning 1-4hrs shift/week.
The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, caring, tolerant and a dedicated disability support worker. The applicant will have exceptional verbal, written communication and listening skills with a deep understanding of person-centred care. They will have a willingness to learn, be punctual, reliable and have strong problem solving abilities. In addition, they should be able to work both independently and within a team.
Duties may vary to suit the needs of the individual clients. This may include however are not limited to:

• Personal care - showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
• Domestic duties - housework, laundry and meal preparation
• Community access - transporting clients to shopping, doctors appointments and social activities

Essential criteria:

• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• First Aid Certificate
• Working rights in Australia
• Drivers License
• Reliable insured vehicle

Preferred but not essential:

• Industry experience will be highly regarded
• An understanding of person centred disability care

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
