Specialist Consultant (Recruitment and Retention)

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to lead a team to implement strategic recruitment and selection initiatives, including systems and strategy to support the attraction and retention of quality candidates to Legal Aid Queensland (LAQ).
What you will do
- Lead the recruitment team including the allocation of work, providing training and information to team members, maintaining data and reporting and managing performance
- Contribute to the delivery of strategic workforce plan initiatives that relate to recruitment and retention
- Oversee recruitment across LAQ to ensure processes are consistent with legislation, the directive, policy and guideline
- Knowledge of public sector recruitment, selection, attraction and retention strategies
- Ability to write in a clear, concise and articulate manner and have experience preparing policies, briefing notes, reports and other business documents
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with a network of key people
- 36.25 hrs per week (full time hours)
- 12.75% employer super contributions
