Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Systems Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.

This role will see you take on a range of tasks including continuing airworthiness management of the H135 aircraft, overseeing DASR obligations, reviewing and drafting engineering artefacts and other ad-hoc engineering activities associated with the project.

This role supports a major rotary wing platform within the Defence industry and is based in Nowra.

What will I be doing day to day?

• Producing and reviewing airworthiness engineering artefacts
• Review technical deliverables
• Data management and analysis
• Assisting on ongoing Systems Safety activities
• Work with a wide range of stakeholders and build meaningful and lasting professional relationships
• Reviewing engineering and structural plans
• Providing expert engineering inputs into cutting edge technology

What sort of skills do I need?

• Experience within a Defence environment
• Bachelors degree in Engineering
• Strong communication skills
• Process orientated with good attention to detail
• Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
