Seeking a Technical Consultant, with expertise in Networking, to join our high performing Professional Services team. The role will see you will lead projects from design through implementation, deployment, and handover and be responsible for delivering successful outcomes, leading project teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of campus and data centre secure networking, including wireless solutions, with expertise in at least two of the key technical areas
Working at NTT
Act on specialist knowledge:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least two key technical competencies (SDN and wireless)
- Apply deep understanding of campus and data centre secure networking, including wireless technologies
- Utilize expertise in Cisco SDN technologies, network design, wireless solutions, automation, virtualization, security, and troubleshooting
Ensure Client Satisfaction:
- Lead project teams and clients towards successful outcomes
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving problems
- Maintain clear communication with clients & internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Write design documents, implementation plans, and test plans
- Assist with transition to operations documentation
- Support Project Managers in updating key project control documentation
- Assist presales with technical scoping
- Lead technical projects from design phase through implementation and deployment
- Work effectively within a controlled project environment
- Apply project management principles throughout the project lifecycle
- Design and implement wireless solutions using key vendors like Aruba and Cisco
- 10+ years’ experience in professional services project delivery
- Mandatory: Cisco SDN Technologies (ACI, DNA, SD-WAN)
- Mandatory: Wireless Design and Implementation including NAC (Aruba and Cisco)
- Network Design and Architecture (Campus and Data Centre)
- Troubleshooting and Performance Monitoring
- Desired: Automation and Scripting
- Desired: Virtualization and Cloud Technologies
- Desired: Network Security (firewalls, Network Access Control System, VPN solutions)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influence skills
- Proactive and autonomous, yet thrives in team environments
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Client-focused approach
- Understanding of business principles
- Experience with project methodologies and lifecycle
- Flexibility to work in various locations (office, home, client sites) as required
- Full right to work full time in Australia
