Scots English College is now extending an exciting career opportunity to an experienced and go-getter educational consultant to act as a Third-party agent exclusively representing the college, promoting and recruiting Japanese students both onshore and offshore as well as liaising with Japanese educational agencies and aiding them in the pre-enrolment process at SCOTS.
Scots English College (Scots) is a reputable English training college located in the Sydney’s CBD, our modern campus is just moments away from Central Station. Founded in 2016, SCOTS offers a great range of English language courses to adult international students such as General English, Cambridge Exam preparation, IELTS Exam preparation, PTE-Academic Exam preparation, Pronunciation and Communication and English for Academic purposes courses.
The Third-Party agent (Japan) is responsible for the direct and indirect recruitment of international students from Japan, onshore and offshore. You will use your experience in international education, professional communciation, marketing, relationship-building and public relations skills to help SCOTS achieve its growth objectives, and expand relationships with strategically important channel partners to drive growth and sales in the short and long term.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing your own recruitment strategies to grow the Japan market for the college.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to learn about the key selling points, understand the various offerings and services and play an instrumental role in creating and shaping the marketing and sales strategy for the Japan market.
Duties and responsibilities include:
International Sales and Marketing:

• Design and deliver a strategic international marketing and sales plan;
• Make decisions to maximise revenue through careful strategic pricing recommendations across all markets taking into consideration competitor pricing, budgeted pricing and incentive options;
• Keep updated with current and future marketing trends;
• Assist marketing team in creating and implementing digital marketing initiatives through a variety of social media platforms and coordinate marketing campaigns such as video content, student experience programs, alumni referral programs, digital marketing initiatives and stakeholder events; and
• Work with the academic team to develop new products to keep competitive in the marketplace.

International Recruitment/Accounts management:

• Provide specific strategic and sales plan for the Japanese markets;
• Attend Student Recruitment events such as Educational fairs, exhibitions and Education Agents seminars;
• Establish professional relationships with key Japanese partners in Australia and Japan.
• Assist in the student application and enrolment process, and
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

Selection Criteria: Essential

• Knowledge and understanding of the ELICOS industry
• High level written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to speak Japanese
• Completion of a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of relevant skills and knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building, liaison, public speaking skills
• Demonstrated experience in international sales and recruitment
• Proven market research and analysis skills
• Able to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively as part of a team
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.

• Prior experience working in student recruitment
• Potential network in the Japanese market
