An exciting opportunity for a Trade Assistant to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking team based at our Defence site in Pinkenba! The Trade Assistant will work a 38-hour week and may be required to work flexible hours occasionally to meet demands.

About the role
The Trade Assistant is responsible for the assistance of maintenance activities on a vast range of exciting equipment fleets currently used by Defence.

Physical labour, manual handling, moving materials and other ad-hoc tasks around the site.
Preparing site & Site clean-up.
Assisting with the preparation of tools for tradesmen.
Using hand tools and power tools.

About you

1 Year- mechanical/electrical Trade Assistance experience preferred.
Construction White Card.
A commitment to OH&S practices.
Moderate verbal communication skills.
Current Driver's License and Fork Lift License.
You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain a Defence security clearance.
