Your opportunity:

• Assist the Maintenance Coordinator and in-house trade staff with a range of maintenance activities within the Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) department at Bundaberg Hospital, and the nearby rural facilities of Childers, Gin Gin, Mt Perry, Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto and Mundubbera, as required. This position may be required to occasionally work at Maryborough and Hervey Bay Hospitals.
• Carry out efficient and cost-effective maintenance of building infrastructure, fittings, equipment and general maintenance activities under the direction of the Maintenance Coordinator.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:
You will receive salary between $2,651.60 - $3,065.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HBEA11 - HBEA8) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 6 months with the possibility of extension).
