Transport Allocator - Port of Brisbane, QLD

CONTRACT

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Allocator with a valid forklift license, good administrative skills and experience in fleet management. This is a potential ongoing casual opportunity located near the Port of Brisbane and shift times are from 5:00am - 1:30pm (may vary some days), Monday to Friday.
Daily tasks-
  • Organization of small fleet daily (up to 8 trucks)
  • Manually writing consignment notes
  • Assisting team with unpack/loading cargo
  • Contacting receivers for deliveries
  • Picking orders to make loads
Must haves-
  • Transport allocation experience 1-3 years
  • Forklift license
  • Good work ethic/attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Good administrative skills
  • Can work under pressure
  • Desire to be safe and follow OH&S guidelines
  • Knowledge of load restraint guidelines
  • Can work in a team environment
  • Stock identification experience
