Transport Officer CAS

CONTRACT

The successful candidate will maintain the professional image of Supply Chain Surety by behaving in a friendly, professional and courteous manner during all client contact. Aditionally, you will keep accurate, legible vehicle logs/driving records and submit to your Supervisor at the end of each shift. Vehicle logs and driving records are requirement under HVNL and the format of these documents (be in hard copy paper or electronic) is at management's direction.

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated high level skills in communication, both written and verbal, with an ability to understand complex instructions and the completion of required paperwork
Proven communication skills that exhibit a high level of customer service to Health Support Queensland's clients and workforce.
The timely and efficient delivery of various essential materials as required utilising Queensland Health's heavy vehicles.
Demonstrated ability to deliver, load and unload handling units in a busy environment while adhering to safe work practices.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and to maintain healthy, productive relationships with other team members.
Reliable, self-motivated, flexible and a positive attitude.
Resilience and ability to accept and navigate change in a positive and constructive manner. Seek feedback where required with ability to learn from every experience.
Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace and the key principles of safe and courteous driving.

Qualifications, registrations and other requirements

It may be a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against one or more of the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16): measles, mumps, rubella (MMR),varicella (chicken pox),pertussis (whooping cough),hepatitis B, tuberculosis

A current Medium Rigid, Heavy Rigid, or Multi-Combination licence is a mandatory requirement, and must remain current for the duration of employment.
A current Forklift or High Risk to Work licence would also be highly regarded.
