Der Business Development Representative (BDR) spielt eine Schlüsselrolle dabei, Storyblok beim Erreichen seiner Wachstumsziele zu unterstützen und ist Teil der Vertriebsorganisation. Der BDR ist der erste Ansprechpartner für potenzielle Unternehmenskunden und verantwortlich für die Generierung qualifizierter Pipelines durch die Ansprache von Interessenten über mehrere Kanäle im Inbound- und Outbound-Bereich. Der BDR qualifiziert eingehende Leads, die vom Marketing-Team generiert werden, und identifiziert potenzielle Unternehmenskunden, die von Storyblok profitieren könnten. Durch die Kontaktaufnahme mit hochrangigen Entscheidungsträgern dieser Organisationen vermittelt der BDR den Wert unseres Produkts. Das Hauptziel besteht darin, Interessenten in Verkaufschancen umzuwandeln, eine Pipeline potenzieller Geschäfte aufzubauen und gute Beziehungen zu Führungskräften zu pflegen, um eine solide Grundlage zwischen Storyblok und neuen Kunden zu schaffen.
WICHTIGE AUFGABEN
- Identifizieren, Generieren und Qualifizieren von Leads und Interessenten durch Inbound- und Outbound-Kanäle.
- Durchführung eines hohen Volumens an Prospecting-Aktivitäten und Ansprache von Interessenten per Telefon, E-Mail und Social Media, um hochwertige Verkaufschancen für unsere Account Executives zu schaffen.
- Teilnahme an Marketing-Events und Konferenzen; Aufbau und Pflege von Netzwerken mit potenziellen Kunden.
- Pflege langfristiger Beziehungen mit Interessenten; Unterstützung von mittelständischen und großen Unternehmen, das Potenzial unseres Produkts zu erkennen.
- Entwicklung neuer Ideen und Strategien zur Identifikation und Gewinnung potenzieller neuer Kunden.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Account Executive, um eine Pipeline generierender Strategien abzustimmen.
- Konstantes Überschreiten von monatlichen und vierteljährlichen Sales-KPIs.
AUSBILDUNG UND ERFAHRUNG
- Mindestens 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Outbound-Vertrieb, vorzugsweise Software-Vertrieb.
- Fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse sind zwingend erforderlich.
- Nachweisliche Erfolge bei der Erreichung von Verkaufsquoten und der Generierung neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten.
- Technische Erfahrung im Saa S-Bereich (insbesondere CMS) ist von Vorteil.
- Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten – mündlich und schriftlich.
- Erfahrung mit Outbound-Verkaufstaktiken und modernen Vertriebs-Technologien.
- Hohes Maß an Verantwortungsbewusstsein und starkes Engagement, Ergebnisse zu erzielen und in einem schnell wachsenden Unternehmen zum Vertriebserfolg beizutragen.
- Hohe Selbstmotivation in einer autonomen, unabhängigen Remote-Arbeitskultur.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in helping Storyblok meet its growth goals and is part of the Sales organization. The BDR is the first point of contact for potential enterprise customers and is responsible for generating qualified pipeline by engaging prospects via multi-channel through the inbound and outbound channel. The BDR engages with and qualifies incoming leads sourced by the Marketing team. The BDR is also responsible for identifying prospects within potential enterprise customer accounts that could benefit from Storyblok, contacting senior decision makers within such organizations, and engaging them to convey our product’s value. By educating ICPs on the problems Storyblok can solve, the main objective is to convert prospects into sales opportunities, grow a pipeline of potential business, and build rapport with senior stakeholders to develop great relationships between Storyblok and new customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identify, generate, and qualify leads and prospects through inbound and outbound channel
- Conduct high volume prospecting and engage with prospects through phone calls, emails and social media to generate quality opportunities for our Account Executives
- Attend marketing events and conferences; network and build rapport with prospects
- Nurture long term relationships with prospects; help mid-market and large enterprise companies realize the potential of our product
- Develop new ideas and strategies for identifying and winning potential new customers
- Work closely with Account Executive, align on pipeline generating strategies
- Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales KPIs
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in outbound sales, preferably in software sales
- Fluency in English and German is a must
- Track record of achieving sales quota and generating new opportunities
- Technical experience in the Saa S field (especially CMS) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Experience with outbound sales tactics and sales tech stack
