Climate Product Specialist (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

You support the ALDI SOUTH Group on its carbon reduction pathway towards net-zero with approved science-based targets
You develop and implement an international supplier engagement strategy in the field of climate change
You take on responsibility as the climate strategy coordinator, developing measures and global carbon reduction initiatives with a focus on product emissions
You serve as a focal point, collaborating with national and international business entities on the development and implementation of the international climate strategy
You identify synergies with nature and biodiversity teams to create holistic solutions
You collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
You create concept papers, analyses, reports, and presentations

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

You hold a degree ideally related to Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, Carbon Accounting and Management, Agriculture, Supplier Engagement, or Product Supply Chains
You bring initial work experience in agriculture, climate change, carbon accounting (GHG Protocol), or environmental management, with a focus on Scope 3 value chain emissions
You have experience in the field of climate change, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, LCA, PCF, and basic expertise in supplier and buyer engagement
You are proficient in Excel, Power Point, and other MS Office applications
You enjoy international cooperation and transforming mindsets to embed climate action into business
You are fluent in English
You demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as teamwork

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700,-*

willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
