Climate Specialist - International Sustainability (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

You'll oversee and develop international sustainability projects in the field of climate change
Supporting the ALDI SOUTH Group on its carbon reduction pathway towards net-zero with approved science-based targets
You'll take on responsibility as the climate strategy coordinator to develop and coordinate global carbon reduction programs and processes with focus on operational carbon reduction in real estate and transportation
You'll be a focal point and advise the national business entities concerning the implementation and development of the international climate strategy
You 'll collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Creating concept papers, analyses, reports, and presentations

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

You have completed studies ideally related to Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, Carbon Accounting and Management or within Logistics and Real Estate
Initial work experience in climate change, carbon accounting (GHG Protocol) and environmental management with focus on operational emissions of Scopes 1+2 and 3
Experienced in the field of climate change, carbon accounting and basic technical expertise in facility management, logistics and procurement is advantageous
You are proficient in Excel, Power Point and other MS Office applications
Enjoys international cooperation and transforming mindsets to embed climate action into business.
You are fluent in English
You have excellent communication skills and teamwork

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700,-*

willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
